So, this reading week was somewhat of a flop. This is a short read, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless โ™ฅ

The board and how I did is below:

Monday 28th

page count: 41

On Monday I spent the morning working on my blog and watching booktube. After I walked Darcy, it was football time! Both games were fantastic to watch! Best games of the Euro’s by far! My handsome Darcy didn’t agree ๐Ÿ˜‚ During the half time’s I started The Pink Line: The World’s Queer Frontiers by Mark Gevisser (1-42).

Tuesday 29th

page count: 72

On Tuesday I uploaded my Weekly Reading Challenge || June No.2 and then worked on another. My dad is currently watching Merlin for the first time, so it’s often in the background and he’s at some really pivotal moments in the series, so I’ve been hooked as well. I love my idiot children ๐Ÿ˜‚

I then did some reading of Hollow Earth by John & Carole E. Barrowman (224-252). After the football, I finished a chapter in The Pink Line (42-86) before bed.

Wednesday 30th

page count: 31

On Wednesday I had work from 8:30am-7:30pm and I didn’t end of reading during my shift, but as I was on reception I watched the entire series of Hey Sensei, Don’t You Know? (I make myself sound so professional ๐Ÿ˜…). It was actually a pretty cute and well-acted drama. It’s a typical shoujo romance, so don’t expect too much. The plot is simple, and pretty fast paced in the relationship development, but it was fun and sweet. Today was also a pretty chill day at work in general (which was doubly nice because the weather was grim), our manager got us pizza and they watched a film during the evening shift portion of the day. It felt like the last day of school ๐Ÿ˜‚

There was no football, but my dad and I watched a documentary. And then I read a chapter of The Pink Line before bed (86-117).

Thursday 1st

page count: 8

Thursday was another 8:30am-7:30pm shift. Before clocking in, I read a little bit of the Pink Line (117-125) outside with my breakfast. During my shift, I started another Japanese drama “May I Blackmail You?”. I only got through 3 episodes and I’m not sure if I’ll finish it… I enjoyed it in the moment, but was getting slightly bored. And I assumed there would be more romance, but apparently there isn’t really any.

When I got home, my dad and I watched some more of the documentary from Wednesday.

Friday 2nd

page count: 10

Friday was the last working day of the week and again it was an 8:30am-7:30pm shift. During my shift I read some of the Pink Line (125-135) and watched 1 and a half episodes of the Taiwanese drama Back to 1989. The problem was that our main supervisor was back and he kept putting me onto a station where we can’t really have our phones. Who do I sue? ๐Ÿ˜‚

We did end up watching the first football match of the night though, which was nice. I then went home and was able to catch the second half of the second game. I was too tired to do much of anything but sleep after it ended.

Saturday 3rd

page count: 0

In the morning, my dad gave me the remote so he had to sit through 4 and a half episodes. He kept rolling his eyes about the romance, but I’m sure he secretly loved it!

After that we went into town. My dad got his hair cut and I did some food shopping for the coming week. When I got home, I worked on my blog and then we watched the football. I did no reading…

Sunday 4th

page count: 621

In the morning I did some chores around the house. I’m currently seeing if my mere presence won’t kill my tomato plants, and today we put them outside, so I snapped a shot of them before they went into their new house. I’m honestly amazed that they’ve sprouted at all ๐Ÿ˜… In the afternoon I started Bleach Vol 7 (1-169) and then walked Darcy. After that I came home and worked on my June Wrap Up, as well as this post you’re currently reading~ While doing this I was listening to reading sprints on How To Train Your Gavin’s channel.

After washing my hair and listening to my sister rant on the phone, I continued with Gavin’s reading sprints and read more of Bleach Vol 7 (169-459), with a nice large hot chocolate โ™ฅ I then went to bed at and finished it (459-621).

Overall Stats

page count: 783

books finished: Bleach 3-in-1 Vol.7; Tite Kubo

books started/in progress: Hollow Earth; John & Carole E. Barrowman + The Pink Line: The World’s Queer Frontiers; Mark Gevisser + Emma; Jane Austen
