All Of Us Are Dead was another hit on Netflix in January of this year.
The main cast includes Park Ji Hoo, Yoon Chan Young, Cho Yi Hyun, Lomon, Yoo In Soo and Lee Yoo Mi.
It follows several groups of people, the two main being high school students as the main action takes place in their school when it becomes overrun by zombies. A science teacher is pushed over the edge due to the intense bullying his son faces, which leads him to experiment with ways to make him stronger. The “zombie” virus he creates is accidentally caught by a student in his classroom office and the consequences are instant and incredibly destructive to the residents of Hyosan.

Question 1
Your friend comes running to you, telling you that she saw a zombie. What do you do?
I don’t think I’d believe them, so I’d just keep eating my lunch and have to face the consequences!
Question 2
What’s the best hiding spot at your school?
This was a hard one. When we meet Mi Jin in the toilets I was like that is the perfect place! You have a toilet and toilet roll right there (plus water from the sinks)! If it’s the ones where there are gaps I’d be staring at them in fear… What if some terrified student comes in and leaves the door wide open?! I’d do it if they were the enclosed stalls we have a lot of in the UK and had in my school.
A locked classroom seems like a great place. They’re not too big, and they aren’t too small that you’d feel claustrophobic. And if there are lockers, they’ll always be that student who doesn’t have a lock and they might have snacks or something. And you can make a table fort.
Question 3
Do you join a team or work alone?
If I was at school, I’d definitely be part of a team – I think that’s only natural when you’re surrounded by your friends and fellow scared peers. Nowadays, I’d probably spend most of my time alone, but I know that I would want to be part of a team and if I did encounter people, I’d ask to join them.
Question 4
What is your weapon of choice?
I’ve never handled a weapon and my gut instinct was scissors because they’re sharp and easy to conceal. However, you need to be up close to someone to use them (and as I’m writing this I’m wearing a plaster from stabbing my finger with a knife so I shouldn’t be near anything sharp in such an intense situation 😂).
While I would love to release my inner Katniss Everdeen (or indeed inner Ha Ri) with a bow, I just don’t know it works… so I’m playing it safe with a bat.

What is your strongest trait that would help during this zombie attack?
My gut reaction was “I don’t have one”, but actually thinking about it and not being so critical of myself, I do have a brain that works quite well. I think I could help with making strategy plans and outmanoeuvring zombies.
Question 6
Your best friend gets bitten. What do you do?
If Covid has taught me anything, if someone displays any symptoms you move away immediately and in this case (after I get over the shock) I’d leg it. Hopefully, I wouldn’t be crying so hard that I run into other zombies!
Question 7
What is the first thing you would do if you survived?
I think if my brain didn’t immediately shut down from fear, I’d go into survival mode. I’m assuming it might be like how you can disassociate when you’re depressed (at least from how I’ve experienced it) and once it was all over, I’d just break. I’d have an immediate meltdown and someone would need to help me stop hyperventilating.
First off, no I’m not.
It’s a nice and cool thing to think that I would survive, but there is so much running involved. And the violence and noise… how am I meant to deal with screaming, gurgling and gross zombies that used to be people I knew without immediately sobbing and just lying down?!
If I could find a little closet room like Na Yeon does for a while, I’d stay there and never move. That would be how I survive! That or sheer luck!
