Back to Blogging!

“Who is she?”

Remember to stay up to date with the world, listen to those facing atrocities and help spread awareness/donate where you’re able to.

I’ve not posted since the beginning of August due to a couple of factors, the main one being my laptop kept having mental breakdowns, so it was near impossible to write a post.

The other reason was more personal, in that I didn’t feel creative or interesting enough to make posts. I don’t think my ideas or thoughts or that interesting… This hasn’t really gone away, but I’m excited to get back into blogging now that I have a new laptop. And despite my job being quite draining, I’m hoping to better utilise my time.

If you ever have any thoughts or suggestions of what you would like to see on here, you’re more than welcome to reach out ♥

I made a Blog Update back in June, but here I am changing it again 😅

  • Tuesdays: This day is going to be reading challenges, or just challenges in general. On Tuesday’s I’ll be incorporating more of my hobbies (i.e. books and K-pop) into my daily life.
  • Fridays: This is basically going to be what Thursday’s used to be. I’ll be discussing K-pop, drama’s, books and fashion.

Recent Watches

I’m halfway through an obscene number of dramas, and I’ve only completed 3 in the last 2(ish) months…

Mad For Each Other is such a good drama! I love this flawed and odd couple ♥ This drama delves into mental health, domestic abuse, discrimination and self-expression… as well as including a criminal investigation. The acting and script is wonderful and I highly recommend this drama. I do think the ending could have been stronger, but overall it’s a great watching experience.

My Sassy Princess wasn’t on any of my watchlists, but my dad wanted to watch something with Oh Yeon Seo because he liked her acting so much in Mad For Each Other. This drama is pretty and the beginning was funny and had such a charming quality. The chemistry been Oh Yeon Seo and Joo Won was great and their characters had great banter and the progression of their relationship felt natural. The plot and writing of the second half did let the drama down. It was a good drama, but had so much more potential.

Squid Game is a drama that I think everyone has seen at this point. It was on my radar, but it was my dad that got me reading it a lot sooner than I had envisioned. This may be a controversial opinion, but it’s not as good as it’s made out to be… The drama amazing writing, the concept is driven by real life events and is a social commentary. The games and characters were well written, captivating and Ali is a sweet angel who deserves the world!

But, the last episode was disappointing and honestly, the more I think about it, the more I just think it’s straight up bad. This drama could have been fantastic if it was K-drama length and complete story in one series. I hate the trend of multiple series dramas… most of the time they just disappoint and ruin the characters. Also, can we talk about the awful acting of the VIP’s? Interspersed between some fantastic actually, the scenes with the VIP’s were actually painful.

Do you have any thoughts on these drama? Let me know!

Current Favourite Listen

Key is in a league above the rest when it comes to concepts. His new album Bad Love is *chef’s kiss*

I adore Hate That… It’s amazing. Key and Taeyeon is a perfect combination ♥

Thank you for reading and I hope you’re as excited as I am to be back.

I hope you’re having a lovely day and staying safe ♥
