What I Read in February || 2020

20/100: 4 books ahead of schedule – Goodreads~

So, February has ended. I turned 25 and that was it… it just ended 😂

I didn’t read as much as I wanted this month, but I felt very tired and just unmotivated to read. I did end up reading 8 books which is still great!

WHAT I READ:

4 of the books I read were part of the Backlist Book-A-Thon and I did a wrap up post for that, check it out here~

  • Hell’s Horizon; Darren Shan ⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • Parade’s End; Ford Madox Ford ⭐⭐⭐
  • Rebel Belle; Rachel Hawkins ⭐⭐⭐
  • The Diviners; Libba Bray ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The four other books I read in February were graphic novels.

Heartstopper; Alice Oseman Vol 1-3

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ each!

Volume 3 of Heartstopper came out this month and I was most certainly going to read it as soon as I got my hands on it… which also meant I just has to re-read volumes 1 and 2! These graphic novels are super cute, while still talking about important topics. They are also super inclusive and I want more immediately! ♥

Bloom; Kevin Panetta

⭐⭐⭐.5

This was a very aesthetically pleasing graphic novel, especially with the blue tones to everything.

The story was cute and the main two boys had distinct personalities. I just wish there had been more exploration of their relationship. I love the family dynamic and certain friends (Hanna in particular) added substance to the story. I just wish there had been more.

What did you read in February?
