Reading & Watching || Currently #1

Hello! Uni has been busy and my mental health has needed to recuperate, but I’m back with a little reap of what I’m currently reading and watching~

Watching!

Mystery Queen

7a1b8197a7c448f982abfd706136a3d4I am currently on episode 14 of this drama and I am loving it! Seolok is really coming into her own and allowing herself to do the things she loves instead of only doing what her family wants.

I unashamedly love it when my faves bicker and Seolok and Detective Ha are bickering like there is no tomorrow! Their relationship has come so far since the beginning and I enjoy seeing Detective Ha soften, but hide it by his usual arrogance.

I’m so excited to finish this drama and start series 2 in a few weeks!

You’re My Pet (Kimi wa Petto)

untitledI am currently half way through this drama (episode 8).

For me, Japanese dramas can be hit and miss for me, and this one is a definite hit! The acting is quirky, but doesn’t take away from the scenes.

At first I was happy for Sumire to be with either of the male interests, but after watching episodes 7+8, I feel that Momo is more considerate and matches her despite the age difference and odd relationship. Hasumi just seems to want to have sex with her and even then doesn’t think about her.

I’m looking forward to seeing how the drama builds as more people are finding out about the pet/master relationship between Sumire and Momo. I’m also confident that there will be more cute scenes and tears (episode 8 hurt my heart 😭).

Reading!

Twilight

Stephanie Meyer

I’m trash. And I’m having a good time reading this for the 5th (?) time!

The Fiery Heart

81x9XCrbB5LRichelle Mead

This is book 4 in the Bloodlines series, which follows Sydney, an Alchemist, who spends time with her vampire charges and starts to question her organisations ideology.

I started this book months ago, but stopped because I wasn’t in the mood for it. I’m a bit more interested now and hopefully I can finish it soon. Sometimes I find it off-putting when a character gets a pov and it doesn’t feel right. In this case, it’s Adrian. Hopefully, I’ll get used to it or it will get  better haha

20168816Rogues

This is a short story anthology edited by George R.R Martin and Gardner Dozois with 22 stories about rogues from lots of different authors, including Neil Gaiman, Garth Nix and George R.R Martin himself.

I’m hoping to read a short story before I go to bed and work my way through this at a relaxed pace.

What are you currently reading and/or watching?

Thanks for watching! I hope you are having a lovely day~
