“Goodreads” 2024 Reading Challenge
This one is a staple that I’ve been doing since 2014, with mixed results. For 2024, I’m going to stick with 75 books as my goal as it was such an achievable number for me to reach this year.
Tied with this is the Goodread’s Choice Awards as I’m planning on reading the nominees for the Fantasy category.

BuzzwordAThon is a yearly challenge created by Kayla from BooksandLala ♥
This year, I didn’t have a plan of what books I was going to read for each prompt, so it was a case of piecing it together through the year and then frantically finding a few to complete the challenge!
For 2024, I have set out a clear selection of books for the challenges. I will not, however, be reading them in a strict monthly order as I am very much a mood reader~

Non-Fiction
In 2023, I did the same challenge of reading 12 specific non-fiction books and I smashed it! Therefore, I’m really excited to go into 2024 with the same energy for non-fiction ♥
WATCHING
Buzzword Goes to the Pictures
I’ve been trying to watch more films this year and I have a very long list in an excel spreadsheet of films.
I thought it would be a fun idea to make a film version of the Buzzword challenge, hence the graphic –>
There is quite a range of genres and like the book version, I will not be watching these in order as I need to be in a very specific mood for some of these genres. And I have this issue of putting things off that I know I think I’ll enjoy, hence why I have not watched “Everything Everywhere All at Once” yet!

K-Drama Bingo
Over the past couple of years, I have been terrible at watching Korean dramas and I want this to change. I’m going to start relatively small, in that I will be happy if I just get one bingo. I only watched 2 K-Drama’s this year and they were both short – Choco Milk Shake (11 eps – 15mins) and D.P. (6 eps – 50mins) 🙀
To have more of an incentive, I’m going to reward myself every time I hit a bingo. I don’t know what the reward will be, but I’m excited to treat myself~
