Han Ji Min + Nam Joo Hyuk x Marie Claire Kr

Wish You Were Here || 2020/21

Han Ji Min and Nam Joo Hyuk will be starring together in Josée, a romance drama based on Seiko Tanabe’s short story “Josée, the Tiger and the Fish”. The film was released in South Korea on December 10th 2020. It looks like a beautifully shot and written film and it’s definitely one I want to watch this year if I can!

Han Ji Min’s breakout role was in the revenge drama Resurrection in 2005. Her last tv role was last year in One Spring Night and will be starring in Here at some point during this year. Nam Joo Hyuk debuted as a model under YGK+, and as an actor soon after. He gained attention for his role in Who Are You: School 2015. His last role was in popular drama Start Up last year and is also set to star in Here.

This editorial is beautifully shot and the colours have such a warmth. These two people are stunning! ♥

The black and white picture has such a cool 60’s/70’s vibe and I love it! The perspective and framing of both Han Ji Min and Joo Hyuk is stylish. The picture on the right is also pretty, the browns and greys are warm.

Han Ji Min is wearing a brown woollen dress that has an attached cape feature. This is so cool and if this wasn’t hundreds of pounds, I’d want one! With this she is wearing grey Briana boots and an incredibly pretty beret from & Other Stories (£45).

Nam Joo Hyuk is wearing a shirt under a knit jumper, both from Acne Studios. These are paired with trousers from Ami (£260 – I can’t quite tell the colour, but the closest seem to be the Cigarette fit) and shoes from Dior (they are definitely Derby shoes, but there are the Timeless version and simply the Derby shoe, the former are £700, while the latter are £1,050…).

This is a pretty cool shot. Both look beautiful; some arm placements look awkward, but that grass/ground doesn’t look comfortable at all!

Han Ji Min is wearing a camel coloured long coat from Materiel by MUE over a vibrant orange dress. This outfit is paired with black thigh high boots from Rachel Cox.

Nam Joo Hyuk’s outfit is… interesting… There are a lot of patterns/colours and textures that I’m not sure should go together. The long coat from WooYoungMi looks nicer in this lighting than on the site (KRW 1,580,000/around £1,052). This is worn over a mustard brown turtleneck from Kimseoryong and trousers from Ann Demeulemeester (please tell me I’m not the only one that thinks they’re so ugly…). The shoes aren’t listed in the article, so they might be from the stylist’s collection.

These two photos are stunning ♥ The lighting and composition is so pretty! And they’re both glowing!

On the left, Nam Joo Hyuk is wearing a Lanvin black turtleneck under a brown trench coat from YCH. The coat looks great in this lighting and very warm.

On the left Han Ji Min is wearing a mohair cardigan (£1,610) from Miu Miu over a mini dress. The blue colour of the cardigan is lovely and suits her skin tone.

This picture is nicely balanced and the posing is pretty, but I kind of wish their expressions were softer to match the feeling of the rest of the picture.

Han Ji Min is wearing a white long coat from LVIR over a khaki knit dress (KRW259,000/around £170) from Wnderkammer – it looks cool because it has a chain mail look.

Nam Joo Hyuk is wearing a turtleneck jumper (with cableknit and some distressed details – €490/around £445) from Louis-Gabriel Nouchi. The trousers from Cristaseya are such a lovely colour and I would love to see him in this coloured suit.

Han Ji Min and Nam Joo Hyuk are wearing the same outfits in the above pictures and the one below.

These two photos are simple, but very pretty. Han Ji Man has such an interesting side profile ♥

Han Ji Min is wearing a dark grey cropped cardigan from Jacquemus By MUE over a patchwork print dress. The green skirt part of the dress is so pretty and I want just that part! This outfit goes really well with the pretty ankle boots from Twinkle Jenny.

Nam Joo Hyuk is wearing a shirt from Fear Of God, and the colour looks so nice on him. Over this he’s wearing a grey chunky knit turtleneck vest from Maison Margiela, the trousers are also from this brand.

This photo is so cute ♥
