Twice have done many collab stages over the years since their debut in 2015. I watched as many as I could find and want to share the 6 performances I enjoyed the most! ♥

These are in date order!

G4 – U Go Girl (2016 Inkigayo Special Stage)

This is a collaboration stage of Twice’s Jihyo, Baek Ah Yeon, AKMU’s Suhyun and Gfriend’s Yuju. These vocalists are so good and the performance is strong from each. I’ve enjoyed music from all these artists (and their respective groups) and it’s nice to see two Kpopstar alumni on the same stage ♥

This style also fits Jihyo’s voice really well!

Eunji, Jihyo + Ben – Why I’m Pretty (2016 Inkigayo Special Stage)

Again this is a collaboration including Twice’s Jihyo. Alongside her are Apink’s Eunji (aka a ballad queen) and Ben, a vocal soloist known for her OST’s.

It was overall rather sweet and calming and then kicked in with the emotions at the end. Eunji has the strongest vocals out of the three, but both Jihyo and Ben weren’t left behind.

Twice x Gfriend x Seventeen x Got7 Dance Stage (2016 Gayo Daejeon)

This is a collaboration between 4 groups covering hit songs that were produced by JYP.

Whoever decided to have Twice (Momo, Mina, Nayeon + Jeongyeon) start out with Sunmi’s 24 hours needs a bonus. I don’t care that it’s 2020, they should get one every year! It’s a concept that I would love to see Twice explore.

And these members sounded really good with Gfriend for Wonder Girl’s Tell Me. And when the girls joined up with Seventeen and Got7 ♥.♥ I swear every time I’ve seen someone cover JYP’s Who’s Your Mama I’ve actually enjoyed it 😅

Seulgi, SinB, Momo, Youjung + Chungha – Be Mine (2016 KBS Song Festival)

This is a collaboration stage between the main dancers (at the time – some positions change) of Red Velvet, Gfriend, Twice, Weki Meki and I.O.I. It’s girl group member’s covering a boy group (Infinite) which makes the performance so much better ♥.♥

They’re all fantastic to watch and the song sounds great as well. Also can we talk about YouJung?! I think she’s also part of I.O.I… I’m not quite sure about all the different groups that surround or became after Produce 101 and they disbanded (right? idk 😅), but she wasn’t just a great dancer, her rapping was incredibly strong ♥

Twice x Red Velvet – Dreams Come True (2018 SBS Gayo Daejeon)

While I most definitely wasn’t around for the S.E.S. days I am aware of who they are. I will say I prefer this version, mainly because I find the vocals aren’t so cutesy and airy. The song has a backbone if you will 😂

I liked that we got to see Momo, Tzuyu and Chaeyoung perform. All three Twice girls sounded so good and I think they matched the Red Velvet main vocalist’s well. I feel like a lot of the time Twice songs (especially the title tracks) don’t really utilise Momo’s potential. She sounded lovely here!

Taemin, Momo + Jihyo – Goodbye (2019 MBC 가요대제전:The Live)

I’m biased and I accept that, but this is hands down the best performance in this list and I love it. I’m a Shawol so Taemin is my idiot baby and I’m starting to realise that my Twice biases might be Momo and Jihyo.

The song starts with Momo and Jihyo dancing and it’s such a cool performance. The dance style and song in general is so far removed from Twice! It reminds me of the amazing performances Momo did on Hit the Stage.

And can we talk about MOMO?!? Taemin’s vibe suits her so well, both visually and vocally. She sounded amazing! And Jihyo gave me goosebumps. This performance was perfection.

I love that Jihyo – a main vocalist – doesn’t look out of place with two amazing dancers and Momo – a main dancer – doesn’t sound out of place with two amazing singers.

And Taemin is just perfect (it also makes me laugh that he wanted to do TT. this child 😂)
