“Her whisper is the Lucifer, The Lucifer” SHINee 😈

Hit The Stage was a dance competition. Idols join up with professional dance crews to bring their performance to the stage. It was broadcast in 2016 which means I’m years late to the show, but what’s new? 😂

It aired on Mnet and TvN and was MC’d by Jun HyunMoo and Lee SooGeun. I’m not too keen on HyunMoo but I really like SooGeun especially from watching Knowing Bros. Plus the other “panelists” are hilarious! I adore Park Na Rae and her fangirling was beautiful! 😂

For each week, the contestants are given a prompt. For episodes 1 + 2 the prompt is “Devils”. And for these posts I’ll be showing you my favourite 3~

3. NCT Ten x Prepix Crew

Ten was a complete cutie throughout this programme and then BAM! He went all in with this performance! Ten is evoking an exorcism priest who is overcame and becomes a devil himself.

I’m definitely looking forward to seeing more of Ten’s performances (as well as him being adorable!)

2. Hoya x Avengers Crew

Hoya and Block B’s U-Kwon chose the same concept of Joker for the devil prompt. This makes sense as Suicide Squad came out the same year. I enjoyed U-Kwon’s performance, but Hoya’s was more polished and the dancing was just a better standard (which doesn’t surprise me because have you seen Infinite’s choreo?!). Hoya also chose to depict a more Ledger Joker.

I also loved that Hoya went extra and got several Crew leaders to make an “ultimate” crew haha 😂

1. Taemin x Koharu

My Shawol butt is not surprised that Taemin’s performance was my favourite. But he’s my favourite for a reason: he was the best. Out of all the performances I felt Taemin’s emotion and presence the most. He owns the stage and Koharu was a perfect dance partner! Brilliant!

Taemin chose to evoke the ‘inner demon’ in his performance and I loved it! It was absolutely beautiful ♥

I also love that this extra baby could choose any song and he decided to rerecord one of his Japanese songs into Korean for this performance! 😂
