This one is coming to you literally near the end of April but we’re ignoring that!

March had some disappointments, but I’m happy with my favourites. We’ve got some artists I’ve liked for a long time and some that I’m excited to hear more from. I hope you had a great listening month in March ♥

So without any further delay let’s begin! (in no particular order)

Missing You (그립고 그립고 그립다) – Choi Hyun Joon (V.O.S)

Definitely one of the best songs in March! Hyun Joon’s voice is so pretty and emotional. The orchestral elements also elevate the song ♥

Zinnia – 9001

Another great K-Band to add to my faves list! This song is so good! I saw a comment that said that Jo Gon’s voice is ethereal and I kind of love that~

DU DU DU – TAN

Du Du Du is TAN’s debut! All their voices are incredible and this song sounds like it’s from an established group. The beat and vocals of the chorus are wonderful and the song is strong all the way through. I also really like the MV. Everything about this debut is near perfection! I’m so excited to see how they grow ♥

I also really liked Fix You Part 1. on this mini album (it only has 3 songs and Eng ver. of Du Du Du) which also really showcases their vocals.

ESPER – Kwon Eun Bi

I don’t know Kwon Eun Bi’s discography well at all, but the last couple of songs I’ve listened to haven’t been my cup of tea. However, Esper is fantastic!! I’ve listened to this song a lot and it’s incredible.

The music video is also really fun and dramatic to watch – I love when MV’s are like films.

꽃 (Flower) – Park Bom with Kim Minseok

I love Park Bom’s voice and Flower is really showcasing how beautiful her voice is. And I think it was a great idea to feature Kim Minseok of Melomance because they both have very unique voices that actually complement each other well ♥ I’ve listened to this song on repeat several times!

day off – JAEMAN

This song is relaxing despite the lyrics talking about being burnout and wanting to rest but being unable to. Jaeman’s voice is really soft and comforting. I also really loved 원(circles) from the album as well.

We’ll shine brighter than any other stars (우린 어떠한 별보다 빛날 거야) – Lee Hi

Soundtrack #1 has some really great OST’s and of course Lee Hi’s contribution is wonderful. I love her voice so much and it has such a sweet quality for this song~

다시, 봄 (Again) – NU’EST

The fact that NU’EST are disbanding is so sad especially as it has come as a bit of a shock to many fans. Contracts are ending and it does seem like members want to do other things, so I wish them all well ♥ Again is a really beautiful and emotional song.

HANA (하나) – Kim Junsu

I love when Junsu mixes upbeat dance tracks with his dramatic vocals! He starts this song off with a bang and his voice continues to not disappoint ♥ (unfortunately this was the only track on the album I liked…)

DAYDREAM – Highlight

Highlight rarely disappoint! Daydream is that wonderful blend of ballad and pop which this group excel in ♥ I also really liked the songs PLAY and Our Eyes from the album.

Oort Cloud – Younha

I don’t know if this is cheating as the album actually came out in November of last year and this is just a repackage of it, but I don’t care. I missed out on it when it first came out and Younha’s album deserves all the love because it’s fantastic!! One of the best albums I’ve heard in a while ♥

The album is a mix of ballad and rock/alternative and it’s so good ♥

I have so many favourites from the album, including P.R.R.W and Truly.

ESCAPE – (G)I-DLE

This comeback was disappointing – I don’t like Tomboy – but there are two gems in this full album. Escape is really pretty and highlights all the members which isn’t necessarily the way the title tracks go. LIAR is super cool and Yuqi’s chorus parts are great!

RAIN – KIHYUN

While I don’t Voyager, RAIN and , (COMMA) are brilliant.

Rain is an emotional song and there’s an element of sexiness and sultry vocals mixed with desperation because of the breakup story. Comma is great and the lyrics are really good ♥
