Aquarius Drama Tag ♒

20th Jan – 18th Feb

Remember to stay up to date with the world, listen to those facing atrocities and help spread awareness/donate where you’re able to.

It’s Aquarius season and it’s the only sign I really care about because it’s my own 😂

The other signs I know a little about are Virgo and Aries because of Jenna Marbles and Julien Solomita lol~

Aquarius is an air sign and our main traits tend to be that we are stubborn, distant and sometimes perceived as mean. On the flip side we’re smart, friendly and humanitarians (Cosmopolitan). Personally, I feel like I have a mix of traits, but more of the negative 😅

This tag was created by Booktuber Joannotations as part of their Star Sign book tag collection, however, I will be doing this with drama characters!

Aquarius are deep thinkers and highly intellectual people. Name a character who’s most distinguishable trait is their intelligence:

The forensic doctor Baek Beom (Jung Jae Young) in Partners for Justice is known for his intelligence (as well as his grumpiness). I think he actually might be an Aquarius in general because he has quite a few traits. He likes his own space, can be distant and mean, but he can be kind and truly respects the victims he autopsies.

Hacker Ahjumma, aka Jo Min Ja (Kim Mi Kyung) from Healer is incredibly smart. She is a whizz with computers and is the main reason “Healer” succeeds as well as he does.

And we end the question with another doctor – God’s Quiz’s Han Jin Woo (Ryu Deok Hwan). I couldn’t not include a literal genius and the top medical examiner in Korea!

People born under the Aquarius sign, look at the world as a place full of possibilities. Name a character who explores all possibilities of their world:

I’m (still) currently watching Extraordinary You and Eun Dan Oh (Kim Hye Yoon) realises she is just an extra in a fictional novel. She strives to change the course of her story to find love and not be just the terminally ill side character. I love her so much and she truly does force the boundaries that are set by the author.

On the flip side we have Zheng Xiao’en (Vivian Sung) in the Taiwanese drama Lost Romance who wakes up in a novel. Again, the plot is in place, but Xiao’en is absolutely going to explore this new situation and make it advantageous to her.

If there is no mental stimulation, an Aquarius can find themselves bored and lack a motivation to achieve the best result. Name someone who’s motivation and drive are on point:

I have a terrible memory and/or don’t watch enough motivational slice of life dramas… If you have any suggestions for motivated characters, let me know!

There are lots of characters I can think of that are motivated to catch a killer or publicise corruption, as well as those motivated for love, but I don’t think this is what the question means…

Aquarius are future orientated and they know exactly what they want to be doing five or ten years from now. Name a character who visualises their successful future and strives to build it:

Sakura Nanase (Kamishiraishi Mone) from the Japanese drama Love Lasts Forever is adorable and I love that she saw a really kind and attractive man and was like, yes I am going to study my butt off to see him again! And along the way, with his and the hospital staff’s help, she becomes a better and more developed woman and nurse.

Gil Nak Won (Jin Ki Joo) from Come and Hug Me makes a promise to Yoon Na Moo (Jang Ki Yong) and she sticks to it. She wants to be prominent so that she is visible to him, but she also wants to respect her mother’s memory who was also an actress and do a craft that she enjoys.

Aquarius have a strong desire for freedom and equality for all. Name a character who stands up for what is right:

I enjoy watching crime dramas, but two characters stood out for me immediately.

Priest Kim Hae Il (Kim Nam Gil) from The Fiery Priest may have unconventional methods, but he would rather get run over by a truck than turn a blind eye to people taking advantage of others and sometimes you need to throw a few punches and curse words to get your point across 😂

Han Yeo Jin (Bae Doo Na) from Secret Forest is a detective who strives for justice and isn’t afraid to speak her mind and stand up to those who she is obligated to respect due to their status.

Let me know what characters come to mind for these questions!

Thank you for reading!

I hope you’re having a lovely day and staying safe ♥
