My TBR in Stats || πŸ“Š 2020

All about my books~

Normally, I would be doing a wrap up. As I only finished one book in March, it just seemed a bit pointless. The book I did read was Cinder; Marissa Myer – which I gave 3⭐

Instead, I’m going to be doing another TBR post! In my last post on this (made in March last year) I had 104 books in my physical library that I hadn’t read. This time round I have 86.

Did I read 100 books last year? Yes. Do I buy too many books? Also Yes πŸ˜‚ (I’ve also decided not to read some because they no longer interest me).

Age Range:

age range 2020 tbr

Last year YA was the clear winner, but this time it is almost equal with Adult. This is probably because I’ve just been reading more of the YA’s on my shelves. Plus I have purchased a few more Adult recently~

  • Children/Teen: 5
  • Young Adult: 41
  • Adult: 40

Genre:

genre 2020 tbrThis is always interesting to find out, but one of the harder things to do as I never know what genre’s books actually are. So, what I’m saying is – this could be not right πŸ˜…

  • Fantasy: 28 (33%)
  • Urban Fantasy/ Paranormal: 25 (29%)
  • Dystopian: 16 (19%)
  • Historical: 9 (10%)
  • Classics: 5 (6%)
  • Sci-Fi: 3 (3%)

Page Count:

My maths has gotten worse and not better over the years, so I hate me for wanting to know this…

The amount of accumulated pages over these 86 books is 38,375 (I have taken off the amount of pages of the two books I am currently reading~). This means the average page range is around 440 pages… That’s not daunting πŸ˜…

If I were to read 100 pages a day (again lol), then I would finish this in 384 days… Will I? No, but it’s nice to see what I could do if I had my life together πŸ˜‚

Currently Reading:

Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell; Susanna Clarke

  • 580/1006 pages read
  • I have been reading this book for what feels like forever! It reads long… and I’m kind of bored.
  • The writing is amazing and the work put into this book is phenomenal, however, it too long!

Labyrinth; Kate Mosse

  • 516/694 pages read
  • This is not as interesting as I would have hoped considering it’s about a secret grail and sect. There’s betrayal and murder and I do enjoy the past aspects of the storyline. The present storyline is meh and the main character has like no personality…

TBR:

I spent a ridiculously long time putting these covers together!

Are there any books you would highly recommend? Some you wouldn’t? How does your TBR look?

Thanks for reading! I hope you’re having a lovely day and staying safe β™₯

  1. The Bear and The Nightingale is a great escapist read that I would definitely recommend! It’s a book you’ll want to curl up with and lose yourself in. 1Q84 by Murakami is a book that I’ve wanted to read for a while and still haven’t gotten around to. Happy reading!
