The trio are closing in!

After getting a call from her dad, EunWoo’s sister checks up on our two geniuses… who have escaped out the window!

At what I can only describe as their lair, HanEum is explaining how EunWoo’s internet records have been hacked remotely. Using his trusty Phoenix VII computer program, HanEum runs a reverse trace on the hacker.

The IP Address belongs to Kim TaeHee’s home.

The next day, the team take a visit to TaeHee’s home and to stop them acting weird, she let’s them in and feeds them cake.

While JinKyung finds out that TaeHee and EunWoo were classmates in middle school, our two geniuses sneak off (cake in hand and all over their faces haha) to snoop around TaeHee’s room.

This is a stalker/sasaeng room with pictures of JoonYoung everywhere! This girl even has a terabyte of pictures of him on her computer! TaeHee catches them and kicks them out of her house.

After discovering TaeHee is a sasaeng and not JoonYoung’s girlfriend, the trio head back to EunWoo’s home.

There, EunWoo confesses that he sent the note as a warning for making TaeHee cry. We then get a flashback of the two boys arguing. EunWoo pleads a frustrated JoonYoung to be good to TaeHee and gets a few punches in response. JoonYoung calls him crazy too and storms off.

EunWoo admits that he didn’t think TaeHee would go as far as she has done.

JinKyung asks EunWoo to help them, but he’s unsure as to how he can do that. He follows an instruction to call TaeHee, who is currently with JoonYoung, and persuades her to tell him where they are. TaeHee wants to end everything, and accepts EunWoo’s help to fulfill her plan.

JinKyung agrees to let EunWoo go to the Moonlight Waves (a pool) alone because he knows TaeHee’s nature. While she hugs him, JinKyung mouths to the two geniuses to prepare to follow him. HanEum misreads and does a heart and then hugs Oh Sung (so much for these idiots being geniuses haha :p).

It’s now evening and TaeHee is chatting to a terrified JoonYoung. EunWoo runs in and tries to persuade her that they should all just live. TaeHee doesn’t want to and says it’s too late.

In trying to get TaeHee away from JoonYoung, EunWoo accidentally pushes the latter into the pool. He jumps in to save him, while JinKyung runs in and grabs hold of TaeHee.

It’s a new day and our trio are on a green, chatting about how JoonYoung and EunWoo are on better terms now (well the boys are, JinKyung is snoring on the floor haha). They also talk about how EunWoo is waiting for TaeHee, who is spending time in a psychiatric hospital.

JinKyung’s phone wakes her up and there is a new case. They run off together!

Thoughts:

Weirdly I wasn’t expecting TaeHee to be a sasaeng, but boy did she let it all out this episode! I was expecting EunWoo to be covering for someone and it makes sense to cover for the girl you like (I guess haha). 

It was nice to see that JinKyung was more proactive in this episode, but it just seems that HanEum is the most useful because of his knowledge with computers.

I’m interested to see what the next case is all about, but I also really want to know the trio’s background!
